Sharon Cecile Sullivan

Sharon was born June 28, 1949 to Sharon Elaine Polk Easley and Cecil "Red" Edward Easley in Houston, Texas. She is proceeded in death by her parents and her loving husband of 42 years, James Michael Sullivan. She is survived by her three sons, Michael Paul Sullivan, John Adrian Sullivan and James Patrick Sullivan. She had 8 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. She was a beloved sister to Sandra Elaine Pearson and her brother, Neal Alan Polk. She is also survived by her nieces, nephew and many beloved friends.

Shay graduated from Aldine High School in 1968. She resided in Houston all her life. She enjoyed being a homemaker and volunteering at her sons' schools.

She was known by many as "Mama Shay" for she was devoted to caring for all the children in her life.

The family would like to express with deep gratitude and appreciation the love and support of her dear friends, Carla Stinson, Janet & Ray Massey, Jeanine Schnieder, and Marilyn Beal.

Her infectious laugh will be missed by all.

A visitation for Sharon will be held Thursday, January 4, 2018 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Memorial Oaks Funeral Home, 13001 Katy Freeway, Houston, Texas 77079. A celebration of life will occur Friday, January 5, 2018 at 10:00 AM with a reception to follow at Memorial Oaks Funeral Home.
