Seymour John LeBeau, 77, born June 13, 1941 in Eagle Butte, South Dakota on the Cheyenne River Sioux Reservation, passed away July 20, 2018. He is survived by his wife Carol, step-daughters Cheryl Helsel and Jeanette Wells, step-grandchildren, James Helsel, Jr. and wife Jessie, Elizabeth Helsel, William Helsel, and step-great grandchildren Ella and James Helsel III.
He is also survived by a sister Emaline Moran and husband Eddie and brother, Vetal LeBeau, along with sister-in-law JoMarie Clifton and many nieces and nephews.
After growing up on a cattle ranch on the Missouri River in the northern central plains of South Dakota, he served in the military. After acquiring two college degrees, he went on to become a C.P.A. and retiring from the Internal Revenue Service.
He was always happy and smiling and will be missed by all especially Cheryl and Jeanette whom he treated as his own.
Visitation will be held at Memorial Oaks Funeral Home, on Tuesday, July 24, 2018 at six o’clock in the evening until eight o’clock. The funeral service will also be held in the chapel of Memorial Oaks Funeral Home on Wednesday at two o’clock, followed by the interment. Guests are invited to a gathering at the Memorial Oaks Event Center afterward.
