Mr. Seward Brandon Lott

He was the youngest child of their four children and their only son. Seward attended Cy-Springs High School before joining the Navy (E4) and receiving his Associate’s Degree from San Jacinto College, where he graduated with honors. Seward is survived by his loving family; his parents, Willie and Jereland Lott; his older sisters, Sabrina Lott, Stephne Whitfield and Sonia Townsend; his nephews, Adrin Dalton and Arin Whitfield and his nieces, Aspen Whitfield, Rylyne Townsend, Harmony Lott, Piper Lott and Regan Townsend; his loving girlfriend, Amber Hamilton and a host of other relatives, including his Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and many beloved friends.

Seward lived a full and complete life. He never wasted a dream, made an excuse or failed to try. He was an exquisite young man who was full of light and promise. Seward knew and loved God and accepted Jesus Christ as His Lord and Saviour at an early age. He served as an usher,

growing up and was always very proud of his position.

As a young boy, Brandon tried his hand at many sports- soccer, football , baseball and basketball. Basketball became the one sport that he grew to love the most and would spend hours playing with friends and his nephew Adrin. After high school, Seward started taking college classes at Lone Star College until he ultimately decided to join the Navy and take after his Father- Willie C. Lott, who is a retired Major in the Army. Seward loved being a part of the Navy and climbed up the ranks quickly. When he left the Navy to pursue college, Seward had achieved the ranking of an E4. Upon leaving the Navy, Seward enrolled in college and graduated with Honors from San Jacinto College.

Seward became interested in careers in oil and gas and quickly enrolled in classes where he received several certifications which ultimately landed him a position in Midland, Texas as a Supervising Welding Inspector at Pro-Tect Working for the last 3 years.

Seward had many interests, which led to many different opportunities and experiences. Seward loved to travel and would often take exotic trips to learn more and experience more about the world. He loved traveling with his family, his girlfriend and his crew of friends. Seward also loved working in the fashion and entertainment fields. One of his favorite behind the scenes

experiences was working alongside his cousin- Stetson Rhodes, known musically as Youth Soul Love. Seward also worked in front of the camera and loved that the best. He was a Brand Ambassador for several fashion lines as well as a local actor- with billboards and commercials in Houston for San Jacinto College. As a national actor, Seward’s biggest role to date was

in Simon Rex’s hit independent film “Red Rocket” where he played the character “B” and received rave reviews.

Seward was the consummate entrepreneur who worked diligently to create a legacy for himself. Seward not only trained and competed in bodybuilding, but he also built a business around fitness after being inspired by his own journey and began training others to live healthier life styles. His training sessions were very successful throughout Houston. His clientele included

celebrity clients as well. Seward loved to give back and would often give his time to the service of others. Seward enjoyed mentoring children and would donate his time to organizations like Modern Gents. Seward also gave his time to many organizations in support of Veterans and Sickle Cell Anemia.

Seward will be remembered for being a light in people’s lives. His smile could light up a room but his heart was even brighter than that. Seward loved his family and maintained a very solid group of friends that he has had since childhood. Seward was loyal and loving. Anyone who had the privilege of being around him was left impressed and inspired by his wit, his sparkling personality and his zest for life. Seward was only with us for what seems like a moment, but the impact of the love and the legacy that he leaves behind with all of us, will last a lifetime.
