Sandra Aguilar Navarrete, loving wife, mother, daughter, and sister. Born February 17, 1963 in Hondo, Texas, lost her battle with cancer on February 11, 2011, but won the victory to meet her savior. Sandra was preceded in death by her father, Andres Aguilar, her sister Amalia “Molly” Clark and her nephew, Bobby Rey Aguilar. Sandra is survived by her husband of 22 years, Lewis Galileo Navarrete, her mother Manuela Carrasco Aguilar, her children Jason and Lisa San Miguel and David Galileo Navarrete and granddaughter Lexie Mai San Miguel-Martinez; her six siblings Andres Aguilar Jr. from Alvarado, TX, Sylvia Morales from Cleburne, TX, Robert Aguilar from Moore,TX, Diana Rodriguez from Lewisville, TX, Dora Aguilar from Cleburne, TX, and Adolfo Aguilar from Rosenberg, TX; and numerous extended family.
Sandra grew up in Moore, TX and then moved to Houston, Tx. She worked in the Hospitality business as a Revenue manager, for numerous years. She switched occupations a couple of years ago, to work at the Harmony School of Innovation. She enjoyed baking, cooking, going to the movies, traveling, attending plays with son David, and spending time with nephews and family. She also enjoyed making To-Do lists for her husband (she even made her last list for him, on a napkin while in the hospital).
Sandra leaves a legacy of love and friendship in every life she touched. She was an inspiration to all and will be greatly missed and remembered by all that knew her.
