Sandra Ann Escobar, 74, of Houston, Texas passed away on July 30, 2016. She was born on September 27, 1941 in Houston, Texas to William and Edna Henry. During her life Sandra had many interests including knitting, crocheting, puzzling, reading and gardening. Mostly she enjoyed fellowshipping and sharing her strong faith in Jesus Christ. Sandra is preceded in death by her husband, Benjamin Ray Farrow Escobar and father William Henry. Left behind to cherish her memory are her children, Teresa Poller and husband Robert, Stephanie Escobar and Matthew Escobar, her mother Edna H. Henry, sister Carolyn Calhoun, grandchildren, Andrew, Dakota, Brandon and Kayla, as well as many other family members and friends. A graveside service will take place on Wednesday, August 3, 2016 at 3:00 PM at Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery. Family and friends are encouraged to gather in the foyer of Forest Park Lawndale starting at 2:30 PM and travel in procession to the grave site.
