Samuel Fraga Sr.

Samuel Fraga Sr., age 67, of Houston, Texas passed away on Tuesday, September 21, 2021. Samuel was born April 8, 1954 in La Presa (La Presita), San Luis Potosí, Mexico. Preceded in death by his mother Maria Efren Fraga, bother Jose Fraga, sister Sarah Fraga.

Samuel is survived by his brother Francisco Fraga, his beloved wife of 42 years, San Juana Fraga, his son Samuel Fraga Jr. & wife, Aide Fraga. His daughter, Sandy Fraga Meza & husband Vicente Meza Jr. His grandchildren, Jairo Abdiel Fraga, Ethan Isaiah Meza & Sophie Nicole Meza.

Samuel was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. He was loved and respected by his family, friends and loved ones. He was a faithful and devoted Jehovah's Witness for over 30 years. He served many years as an elder of the congregation, a regular pioneer and active member of the RBC committee.

Samuel enjoyed attending and watching sport events on television. Baseball was his favorite sport followed by soccer. He had the privilege of attending a Gold Cup game with his grandson a couple months before his passing.

There are many cherished memories and is indeed a soul that will be truly missed, yet never forgotten.

A visitation for Samuel will be held Monday, October 4, 2021 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Funeraria Del Angel Crespo - Broadway, 4136 Broadway St., Houston, Texas 77087. A service will occur Monday, October 4, 2021 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM, 4136 Broadway St., Houston, Texas 77087. A funeral service will occur Tuesday, October 5, 2021 from 12:00 PM to 12:40 PM, 4136 Broadway St., Houston, Texas 77087. A committal service will occur Tuesday, October 5, 2021 at 1:00 PM at Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery, 6900 Lawndale, Houston, TX 77023.
