Rudy was a mentor to me growing up in high school. I will miss the time we shared, during his tenure at Fiesta. He was the legacy that helped me become a professional mascot, while performing as Pepe. My condolences to the family and know, his legacy still continues through my success. 🙏

I've just learned about Rudy's passing. I had the fortune to work with Rudy for 6 years at Fiesta. I am Mexican born and I used to tell Rudy that he was more Mexican that I was. Rudy loved his roots and he always gave 100%+ of his work efforts for this cause. I had many brekfast conversations with Rudy where he shared with me his experiences and learning he got from the Vietnam War - as he always said, I went to Vietnam as a person but came back as a totally different person. I love you Rudy and we will meet again 

So sorry to hear of Rudy's passing....definitely a loss we will all feel for a long while.   As many have stated Rudy was one of a kind and a true friend to all!  He was a very gentle man and always working on the next big "EVENT".....his passion for the Hispanic community was proved time and time again.   My fondest memories were all the parades he would coordinate and always executed flawlessly!   Fiesta Mart was his passion for many years and I am proud to have worked alongside him many years! Rudy rest in peace my friend! 

Rudy…you changed my life…because of the chances you gave me my kids now go to college, I have my dream job, I am happy with a beautiful family…all because  one day you decided to give this naco a chance…
Rest my dear friend…you fought the good fight, you finished the race….you helped and you are loved…and you will always be remembered…Aloha dear brother…

What a wonderful person Rudy was. He brought joy and laughter wherever he was. 

Robert, Richard, Raymond (our inside joke), you will definitely be missed.

My deepest condolences to Sophia and the Talamantez Family.  I had the privilege of working with Rudy in many events sponsored by Fiesta.  He was the 'real deal'.....!  Always a smile on his face with a touch of humor and so much enthusiasm for life.  This enthusiasm touched all of us that had the opportunity to spend time with him, planning and executing his events.   He fought a courageous battle and can now rest in peace with God. My deepest condolences to Sophia and the Talamantez family.   I will always remember growing up with Yolanda joking with Rudy and him joking with us.  All the gatherings at Paula and Paul's house.  The beautiful memories that you all will carry in your hearts.  Love you all.

Rudy was truly an amazing and great friend. Without a doubt he was indeed a people’s person, always positive and caring of others. Never a null moment with him. He served our country in the U.S.  Army and earned honor and respect to the fullest. A Great War hero! He will diffidently be missed! My friend you have gained your wings to Heaven. May you R.I.P.

My condolences to Sophia and the family. Rudy was a munched loved man. A man with passion to engage and ignite joy and showed love from within ones self. For Rudy spoke the language that culturally spoke to many in ways that made you shout for joy, jump with enlightenment, hug because you felt the emotion. Rudy was a man that I trusted and loved deeply. He touched so many lives that brought joy to families and customers. He did it with integrity, correctness, and for the love of all people, all ages, all cultures, all the time. A man of his deep love to help and share with others. I’m Keith Jacobsen and worked with Rudy all his years at Fiesta. He did an amazing job as I reflect. I loved him very much. My tears are of morning and of joy that I worked and knew this guy.

Rudy my Dearest Friend, your memories are treasured within my heart, especially because you're no longer here!!!  Memories of the good times we both shared remain forever dear!!!

You were a wonderful friend in more ways than one ~You were truly one in million!!!  You made me laugh, you made me smile, you gave me so much joy!!!

We'll miss you so very dearly ~ it's a loss that's so hard to bear!!!  Nothing makes it easier knowing that you're no longer here!!!

For all you were, and for all that you did, you remain very special indeed!!!  I'm very grateful for the times we had together, I'll cherish my memories of you forever!!!

Rudy, I didn't have the opportunity like Ofie did to spend more time with you, but the times I did I really enjoyed.  You were ( I'll say are, cause I know the Lord has taken you into heaven) a fun and  funny guy.  I enjoyed hearing your stories of your time working for 
Fiesta and the impact you made on the community.  And I really appreciate knowing you because of your love of country and the service.  Thank you for your service and being my friend.

Rudy and I worked together doing grassroots promotions. I was General Manager of La Tremenda, Estéreo Latino, Puro Tejano and K-Love while Rudy worked at Fiesta. Together we worked at Cinco de Mayo, Fiestas Patrias events as well as the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo. We also worked  the premier of the movie Selena. I miss Rudy and cherish the memories we made together. Praying for his family and friends. 

Rudy, you are a true hero.  You proudly displayed honor and love for your service in the U.S.Army.  
Thank you, for being our friend.

You will be missed by so many of us.
