Rosemary Catherine Montalbano

three, passed away at the age of 71.

Rosemary was born on August 27, 1947 in Brooklyn, New York to Anthony and Rose

Montalbano. She received her bachelor of arts degree from Buffalo State College in

1965. She married and raised three children. She spent 27 years working for various

insurance companies doing worker’s compensation until her retirement in 2010.

She was an avid coffee connoisseur and especially enjoyed it accompanied with

good friends. She loved long walks on the beach and was a loyal friend. She regularly

served up her favorite delicious home-cooked Italian recipes for family and friends,

and devoted time to her seven grandchildren. She had a kind heart, a compassionate

spirit, and would do anything to support her family and friends.

Rosemary was preceded in death by her parents and is survived by her brother

Anthony Montalbano and wife Roberta and son Chris; her children and their

spouses, Kristyn and Jeff Fuller, Gina and Frank Salazar, and Joseph and Melissa

Roberts; and seven grandchildren, Madison Roberts, Kate Fuller, Morgan Roberts,

Vincent Salazar, Dominic Salazar, Joseph Roberts, Jr., and Isabella Salazar.

A funeral mass will be held on Monday, January 21, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. at the Co-

Cathedral of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Downtown Houston at 1111 St.

Joseph Parkway, Houston, Texas 77002. Arrangements should be sent to Memorial

Oaks Funeral Home & Cemetery, 13001 Katy Freeway, Houston, Texas 77079. In lieu

of flowers, donations can be made to Catholic Charities.
