Rose Kelly

Rose Mary Kelly, 75, returned to her heavenly home on March 17, 2018. Rose was born to the late Albert and Hazel Allen in Houston, Texas on July 23, 1942. She received her formal education from Phyllis Wheatley High School in 1961. On February 19, 1964 she gave birth to her only child Constance Yvonne Allen. She married Lawrence Kelly on in 1974 in Houston, Texas. Rose worked for the VA hospital as a Dietary Supervisor 34 years until she retired. Rose had a big heart and was considered to be the matriarch of her family. She also helped to raise her younger siblings. She was very kind, loving and is dearly missed by her loved ones. We celebrate her now that she is in the loving arms of her creator. Rose is preceded in death by her late husband Lawrence Kelly, brothers Ocie Stubblefield, Joe Terry, James Allen and grandson Jerrell Allen. She leaves precious and loving memories to her daughter Constance Allen, her grandchild Stacie Sampson, her sisters Patsy Papillion and Bobbie Coleman, her brothers Albert Allen, Jr. and A.C Allen, her step daughter Michelle Kelly, her God daughter Ardrena Burnett and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
