Rosa's parents passed at a young age, so she stayed with family members until finally settling with her maternal grandparents. She would fall in love with her neighbor, Pete. They married on September 30, 1969 and had six children. Rosa graduated from Milby High School, class of 1969.
Rosa was a devoted housewife and faithful member of St. Christopher's Catholic Church. She was also a member in a bowling league and known as "Gutterball Rosie."
Rosa loved to travel. She especially enjoyed her trips to New Mexico and Spain. She enjoyed Tejano music, especially Roberto Pulido y los Clasicos. Rosa's favorite places to shop were Walmart, Target and Office Depot. She loved school supplies. Her favorite TV Shows were CSI: New Orleans and Blue Bloods. Above all, she loved her family, especially her grandkids. She found joy in cooking for them or catching up with them over a meal.
Preceded in death by her Mother, Maria D. Rivera; Father, Gustavo Rivera; Brothers, Gustavo Rivera Jr., Richard Rivera and Manuel Rivera; Daughters, Ana Marie Pulido and Monica Ann Pulido; husband, Pete Angel Pulido Sr.
