Born in Baton Rouge, Louisiana on August 13, 1946, Ronald Wayne Anderson’s parents were Amos Anderson and Hazel (Starr) Anderson.
Ron graduated from high school in Angleton, Brazoria County, Texas. He continued his education at Durham Business College and received a Drafting Degree. He met Jeannette Ellis in Houston and the two were married on January 11, 1975. Ron worked in engineering at Raytheon for several years until retiring. Some of his passions included spending quality time with his family and friends. He was a man of great faith and a Sunday school teacher. Ron also had a love for the outdoors and a passion for hunting and fishing. All who came to know Ron will miss him dearly.
Ron was preceded in death by his father, Amos Anderson, and his mother, Hazel Anderson.
He is survived by his loving wife of forty-nine years, Jeannette Anderson; his brother, Tim Anderson and Tim’s wife Linda; their son Tim Anderson Jr. and wife Julie; their sons Matt Anderson and Jacob Anderson plus Jacob’s wife Sarah and their daughter Isabella. Ron is also survived by Tim’s daughter Sherri Campbell, her husband Chris Campbell and their children Lucas, Jonah, Wyatt and Caitlin. Other survivors include niece Deborah Morton with her husband John Stewart, nephew Ethan Morton and a host of other cherished family members and friends.
Visitation for Ron will be Friday, December 6, 2024, from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM at Brookside Funeral Home, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, TX 77039. A funeral service is scheduled to follow the same day and begin promptly at 2:30 PM in the Grand Oak Chapel at Brookside followed by burial at Brookside Memorial Park.
