Robert Edwin Shaw

Robert Edwin “Bob “ Shaw, a resident of Deer Park, Texas for 49 years went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, August 10th 2021, at the age of 87 years. Bob was born on January 12, 1934, in Bay City, Texas to Robert and Marie Shaw.

Bob graduated from Bay City High School in 1952. He began his career with Humble Oil Company and later Exxon from which he retired. While living in Bay City, Bob met his beloved wife and friend of 54 years, Trina Anderson. Bob and Trina were married on June 16th 1956, in Conroe, Texas. With Bob as her personal chauffeur, they logged thousands of miles visiting craft shows, and antiquing as Bob liked to call it “Driving Miss Trina”. Bob driving duties continued as they attended baseball, basketball, and football games and the many recitals and performances of their five grandchildren. Bob was an avid golfer and longtime member of Baywood Country Club. Those who knew him well appreciated his wit, and good-natured ribbing.

Bob is preceded in death by his wife Trina and survived by his children, Robert Lewis Shaw and wife Tamara of Mont Belvieu, Texas and Robin Elaine McDaniel and husband Mac of Deer Park, Texas; Grandchildren, Katrina Kendall, Keaton, Kirk, and Kyle as well as three great grandchildren, Maxwell, Madison and Mason. Sunday 10:00 A.M. Graveside Service will be held at Grand View Memorial Park.
