On November 20, 1945 a special gift was born to Robert and Vivian Sanford andthey named this special gift Robert Louis Sanford, Jr. Louis accepted our Lord andSavior, Jesus Christ, at a young age.Louis attended Phyllis Wheatley High School and after graduation went on to servein the U.S. Army.Later in life Louis met Peggy Marshall and together they raised her son and twograndchildren.On January 10, 2019 our Heavenly Father decided He needed a special flower to beadded to His garden, so He picked Louis. Louis was preceded in death by his parents,Robert and Vivian Sanford; his brothers, Kenneth Sanford and Charles Lewis; andhis sisters, Latitia Watson and Vivian Roberson. He leaves to cherish his memories:four sisters; Shirley Emerson, Christine Mayes, Sandra Clark, and Delores Sanford; onebrother, Raymond Sanford; three children, Robert Louis Sanford III, Bryce Sanford, andThomas Sanford; one grandchild, Da’Von Sanford; two brothers-n-law, Ray Emersonand Robert Watson; one aunt Nellie Mae Moses (Harvard), one uncle William Sanford(Lilian); six nephews, Ray Emerson (Brenda), Steven Sanford, Teddrick Sanford Sr., ElijahSanford Sr. (Brandi Wingate), Nijell Sanford, JerMichael Sanford (Brittany), and BruceRoberson; seven nieces, Tremicka Stansberry (Errol), Jaquetta Watson Lewis (Johnathan),Sharron English (Eric), Valencia Sanford-Bates (Michelle), De’Cassalyn Sanford, JavodiaSanford, and Carretta Sanford; a special friend Peggy Marshall; one son Jerry Marshall,Sr., six grandchildren Alishe Sarpy,, Demarcus Lewis, Dante Sary, Stavion Marshall, JerryMarshall, Jr., June Marshall and a host of great nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.Honorary nieces, Crystal Green, Rochelle Scott, and April Sanford.
