Robert Johnson Jr.

On July 23, 1957, a baby boy was born to proud parents of Dorothy and Robert Johnson Sr. in Houston, Texas. He accepted Christ at an early age at Mount Zion Baptist Church and later became a member of Ark of Restitution Missionary Baptist Church under the leader of Pastor Vern L. Cooper. He attended Hartman Jr. High and Jones High School a er he graduated, he joined and services the United Sates Army from January 30, 1978 to August 5, 1983 and meet and married Shelia Johnson and to that union one daughter was born. Robert were employed at Michael E. DeBakey VA Medical Center were he worked and retired. Robert departed this life on Wednesday, August 31, 2016 at 3: 59 p.m. Robert was preceded in death by his mother and father, Dorothy and Robert Johnson Sr. and one sister, Dorothy Lewis; one nephew, Jamie Borden. Leaves to cherish his loving daughter, Juanita Johnson and one granddaughter, Derya Paylan and special friend, Sheryl Harris; play sister, Shimmy and godfather, McArthur Ford; three aunts, Ruby Dell Taylor (Ft. Worth, Texas), Eartha Ree McIntrye (Temple,Texas) and Pearl Lee Crawford (Houston, Texas) and a host of cousins and friends.
