Robert Ross Hall

He was born January 26, 1934 in New Waverly, Texas, the son of James Marion Hall, Jr and Georgie Leila McGaughy Hall. He was the youngest of four siblings.

He married Carol Jean Demaret on July 25, 1957, in Houston, Texas. He attended and graduated from The University of Houston in the early 1960s. After graduation from New Waverly High School, he served in the U.S. Army as a tank mechanic. After discharge, he was employed by the Defense Contract Audit Agency as an auditor until his retirement. Robert went on to work for The University of Houston in the Small Business Administration office, before retiring after a lengthy tenure.

He is survived by son and daughter-in law, Alan and Susan Hall of League City, Texas; son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Georgia Hall of Lumberton, Texas; son and daughter-in law Scott and Zana Hall of Liberty Hill, Texas; son Steven Hall of Dallas, Texas; son and daughter-in law Casey and Jennifer Hall of Oxford, North Carolina and brother and sister-in-law, Albert and Miriam Hall of Wortham, Texas. Robert is also survived by grandchildren: Jennifer Hall, Ryan and Brittany Hall, Russell and Kelsey Hall, Kris Hall, Caroline and Alex Allgood, Stephanie and Nick Edwards, Michelle and Andy Rearick, Henry Hall, Rowan Hall, Wendy Hall and Austin Nelson; and great grandchildren: Kaleb, Kennedy, Sophie, Katy, Elizabeth, Wesley, Ethan, Grayson, Jackson and Elizabeth.

Robert was preceded in death by his wife, Carol, mother Leila, father James, brother J.M., sister Christine; and grandson Justin Michael Hall.
