I would like to send a huge condolence to the family of Rick Garcia. His wife, kids, parents and siblings especially. My heart is with you and I am praying that God will give you all the strength needed to get through this time. I have known Rick since grade school. We grew up together, graduated together, we were in band together and even spent half a year at University of Southern Mississippi. We would drive back and forth from Houston to Hattiesburg  (freshman year) to visit our families. Our grandparents lived across the street from one another and the memories of our families connections was always great. Rick was an amazing person and he knew how to make laughs out of every situation. He joined the Rugby team at USM and I went to a game once and he had a bloody nose after the game but he was full of smiles because they won the game and he said you should see the other guy.  He always knew how to make a great time out of any situation. He lived his life to the fullest. RIP RICK!

As I read these comments, it became abundantly clear that Rick was well-loved by his family and friends. 

I worked closely with him at Cimplifi and will never forget his tremendous kindness and professionalism.

Rick was a great mentor and friend. I knew he was always in my corner and could rely on him for anything. He told the best stories and always guaranteed a laugh. 

He would always ask about my sister every single time we talked just to annoy me. I still remember how embarrassed he would make me when we went to Cicis and he would eat just the toppings because he was on the keto diet. We would give each other crap on things and knew the other wouldn't get mad (at least not for long). 

Rick was like the older brother I never had and will be missed every single day.

Rick, there are so many good things about you!! I can go on and on... We met in 1980 as kids and remain best friends till the end!! My brother from another mother!! Till we meet again brother!! 😢

We loves the family with all our hearts and souls. Rick is like a brother I will never forget him. God has plans for him to be absent from the body is to be present  with the lord. Great guy! Love the family  to death.

Rick was a character. From the first day I met him we clicked. I will fondly remember the laughs, the calculation of whether we could jump from the 30th floor where HSSK was to the parking garage, laughing at Clint for coming out yelling about his favorite sporting goods store that shares a name with a body part, and the rounds of golf we played. He was a friend and one of the funniest people I know.

So glad I was able to spend one last birthday with you. 💜

Rick, you will be missed. You were a great soul and such a genuine person. Thank you for being a role model to my kids and always prepping them for the future anytime you would talk to them. You were always such an inspiration to me as well growing up.
