Raymond Mendiola Sr., age 75, of New Caney, Texas passed away on Wednesday, December 8, 2021. Raymond was born August 22, 1946. He enjoyed the outdoors, a good fire, good rock and roll and being around his family. He liked all sorts of music but really loved the blues. Loved to have his chocolate bars, extra buttered popcorn, spaghetti and potpies a great diet for a growing man. He was a hard worker if you ever need a hand, he was right there. Raymond was loved dearly by so many, and he was never shy. He would always have a conversation with anyone even strangers. If you needed a partner for anything, company, conversation or just someone to rock and roll with, he was that guy. Red Wolf/Papa Ray loved telling stories about his life experiences even if you heard it 20 times before, it was like the first time over again, the greatest narrator of all time. He had so much to say about Mami and Papi Now he joins the Mendiola wolf pack. Missed.
He is preceded by Michelle Mendiola.
Raymond is survived by his daughters Suzette Arlene and husband Joe Dubeansky, Saadia Ella Sanchez; son Raymond Jr. and wife Cynthia Mendiola; granddaughters Kayla, Esmeralda, Amanda; grandsons Christopher, Mathew, Joseph II, Daniel, Adam, Aaron, Abraham; great grandchildren Grayson, Jerron II, Madelynn; sisters Connie Hinojosa, Janie Acevedo, Mary Hinojosa, Linda Gomez, Irene Maddison, Guadalupe Ramirez, Lydia Resendez; and brother Everitt Mendiola.
