Ray R. Rivera

After graduating Westfield/Wunsche High School in 2010, he went to study music engineering at Full Sail University in Orlando, Fl. He worked for Davita as a Bio-Med tech and Ray was also his sister, Karisa’s manager for her music.

In 2013, Ray met Karen Urbina and both got married October 8, 2018 and had their only son, Ray Rivera on May 15, 2020.

His passions were watching the Houston Rockets basketball team, music, cars, traveling, and tasting different foods.

Left to cherish his memories are his loving wife, Karen L. Rivera; son, Ray Rivera; parents Ray Rivera, Sr. and Veronica Rivera; sister Karisa Rivera and brother, Ramiro Rivera.

Serving as pallbearers are Ray Rivera, Sr., Ramiro Rivera, Edgar Canales, Alan Benitez, Joshua Palacios, Alex Urbina, and Alex Urbina, Jr.

A visitation for Ray will be held Wednesday, October 13, 2021 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Brookside Funeral Home, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, TX 77039. A funeral service will occur Thursday, October 14, 2021 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at St. James Catholic Church, 22800 Aldine Westfield Rd., Spring, TX 77373. A graveside service will occur Thursday, October 14, 2021 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at Brookside Memorial Park.
