He was born on June 2nd, 1957 and raised in Houston, Texas. He inherited a roofing business from his father and successfully ran it for many years. He was a Christian man who loved the lord and tried to live his life as God wanted him to. He enjoyed fishing and riding his motorcycle. He had a beautiful smile, a contagious laugh and a great sense of humor.
He is survived by his partner in life, Nancy Oates; his daughter, Olivia Camp, his 2 sons Jay Camp and Christopher Camp and Lynne Oates, whom he raised as a daughter. He is also survived by grandchild, Adyson Camp, his brother Robert Camp and sister Gail C. Duke and numerous nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Elwood Frank and Olivia Sarah Diciacco Camp and his brother Guy C. Camp.
Visitation will be held Thursday November 9th, 2023 at Funeraria Del Angel Crespo from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm with burial following at Forest Park Lawndale at 2:00 pm. Serving as pallbearers will be Jay Camp, Martin Sanchez, Bob Ferguson, Robert Camp, Tommy Duke and Gustavo Medina.
