I don’t believe coming home has been the same... the house isn’t the same... not sure if I even realize it’s real yet. From the day I met you until your passing you’ve been a blessing. You welcomed me in your heart as your own. You made it to every birthday, never missed a holiday, came to my job, didn’t miss my graduation, there when I went to the Navy and there when I came back, there when I gave birth and so much more. You never missed a beat. Thank you for being Aiden’s best friend... for every trip to daycare and school, for the late nights and early mornings, for playing LEGO’s superheros and nerf guns, for getting in the baby pool, for story time every night and for loving my child like he was your baby. If you never knew... I really appreciate it! I love you and miss you 😘 Rest in heaven and I can’t wait until we meet again! Love your stepdaughter

Papa Arrington was a good man , he had a light that shine so bright . He showed me what a dad was suppose to be like and he loved me as his own , I remember when me and my brother would sleep over and they would call us Down for breakfast and we would all sit at the table and just laugh and just talk . The love he gave me and my brother was irreplaceable I will always love him forever in my heart ❤️

Ray Gene,  the epitome of a man. Full of love for everyone he encountered.  You will be missed dearly cousin.  I remember how excited we would be when my daddy(KJ Jr) would say  "Gene is coming down home to Oklahoma" You definitely left your mark on all generations of the Robinson crew and we are grateful for that.  We love you and our prayers are with the family today and always. 

My condolences to Felicia and the rest of the family. Mr. Ray was a kind, thoughtful, and helpful man. I pray for your peace and comfort.

When I think of Ray Gene Arrington, I think of LOVE, LOVE for people that spewd all around his total being. I think of a man that loved his family and friends and most that he came in contact with. Ray,  your passing has inspired me to tell the people around me and dear to me, that I Love them. My brother and friend you were the perfect example of the word. The night before you passed,

 we talked about appreciating our Blessings, and how it was so easy not to be thankful for life and all of our accomplishment in life. You told me before you went to bed that night that you love me as a brother and a friend,well I believe we serve a living GOD, so I know you hear me when I say, I LOVE YOU TOO MAN !  Now rest in eternal pease.

To the loved ones of Ray Gene, my classmate,  I leave this word, "Lift up your heads."  Think not of what you have lost, but all that you have gained in having one like Ray.  To our class of 73 and to all who knew him,  you do likewise.   Let the love of God enfold you.  The love of God that was in Ray Gene may it be in us.   For there is nothing that can separate us from such a great  love.   God bless you and keep you now and forever more.


Although I only had the pleasure of meeting Ray for the  first time less than a month before he gained his wings. I knew from that one conversation that he was a man of honor, courage, and commitment.  He and my late father were classmates and each of us are military veterans.  He had amazing things to say about my father and his free heart and kind spirit was evident.  His military stories made me feel like I’d known him all my life.  I am blessed to have met him.  I’m sad to hear of his passing. His service to our country will never be forgotten.  Take your rest Veteran we have the watch. 

The Lord saw you getting tired and called you home. Although, we will miss your giving spirit, love, smile, conversations, overnight stays, reminiscing of the family, good times, Robes from Japan to Rose, Marie, Sallie, and Myself. As you reunite with your Father, Mother, Grandparents, Sister, Brothers, and other Collateral Relatives were you will find eternal rest and happiness that you so deserve. We will miss you Ray Gene!

Ray was one of those few people that I admit in my lifetime who was totally protective and devoted to his wife and family. I met him because his wife is my client and had been my client for a number of years before they met and he used to attend our meetings when he could,  I think just to make sure that it was really a meeting. LOL LOL But as he got to know me he was a really warm guy and would give the shirt off his back. I am really going to miss Ray Arrington. And to hear him call me "Dr Stallworth Dr Stallworth!"

The man that was full of stories of adventures, more than enough hugs and kisses!!! Aiden’s best friend not just Paw-Paw! I can still hear you yell Heyyyy Errollyn when ever I called. You always tried to keep up with the “youngsters”. I’ll never forget when you learned “chicken head” thinking that it a term of endearment 😂 the way my sister and I laughed. Maybe you were embarrassed. When asked me and ask what does idk lol ... meant in text, or when you got on the hover board oh and when you had a flash back of your high school days and dunked on Aiden off to the ER lol. You always supported me volunteering with my students or my church. There was never a party that you and mom didn’t dance at. I loved to watch y’all dance. When she took a break sometimes l’d step in and mimic her footwork lol.  There was never a dull moment, I mean my sister and I laughed at conversations between y’all all the time like when you’d get caught sneaking ice cream and candy in the middle of the night and justify why you did it or you and Aiden doing stuff y’all weren’t supposed to do then you’d say “but honey...” 😆 When we’d all travel together the mini concert!! The stories can go on and on. The man that attended everyone’s funeral now I’m preparing to attend yours 😭 Trust and believe you are loved. And as the days go by it will become more normal to miss you and the tears may not fall so often. You will remain forever in my heart 💝 I’ll never forget that smile!!! ......Mr. Ray Daddy Ray Paw-Paw ..... God’s flyest Angel 😇 rest easy Rest In Peace ❤️ 
And to my mom, hang in there. I can’t imagine how you feel. Love you more than you’d ever know. 😘 

Ray, my Cousin and friend - you truly will be missed  - your smile, hug and “Hey Cuz - How you doing?”  Love you always!!

Ray works cannot express how much you will be miss.enjoyed seeing and your wife looking so beautiful at the class reunion. Long time family friend gone but never be forgotten.

Ray Gene...the love you expressed every time you would see a member of your family was so genuine. It was not just said but was shown and most importantly could be felt. You were truly a genuine spirit and the family will sincerely miss you. Family reunions will not be the same without you. The good times will forever remain in my heart ❤️ 

Earth has no sorrow that Heaven can't heal.  I will miss my cousin's affectionate smile,  encouraging text messages and his willingness to help with any occasion when called upon.  Felicia, may the fond memories of Ray soon replace any sorrow or grief and to my cousins, The Arrington's Family, my prayers and thoughts are with you individually and collectively during this trying time.

Some of our fondest memories were of our high school years when we'd ride on the back of Charles truck up and down those blackjack roads. Ray was a fun loving person all of his life! We shall cherish those memories as we keep you all in our prayers! We pray strength, understanding, and comfort for my cousin Felicia,  Cory and the Entire  family!
