grandfather, brother, and uncle, passed away on September 24, 2024.
He was born in Monterrey, Mexico on November 1, 1931, later moved to the states in 1956. He returning to Monterrey to marry his lovely wife in 1960, and they settled in Los Angles, California, later moving to Houston, Texas where he call home for over 50 years. He worked for Quality Steel Iron Works where he retired after 25 years of service. He enjoyed playing baseball, basketball and boxing as a young man, and
enjoyed spending time with friends and family, especially the back yard BBQ’s.
He is survived by his wife of 63 years Maria Cristina LeJarza, his eldest son Ricardo Noe LeJarza and wife Stacey, daughter Sandra LeJarza-Aguilar and husband Rudy, son Raul LeJarza Jr and wife Lana.
Granddaughter Jennifer S. Ignacio and husband Victor Martinez, grandson David R. Ignacio,
granddaughter Emily LeJarza, grandson Raul Athan LeJarza, granddaughter Kalista (Ally) LeJarza,
grandson Kyle LeJarza, and great-granddaughter Adrianna K. Ignacio.
A velorio / visitation for Raul will be held Wednesday, October 2, 2024 from 5:30 PM to 9:00 PM at Funeraria Del Angel Crespo, 4136 BROADWAY ST, HOUSTON, TX 77087. A rosario / rosary will occur Wednesday, October 2, 2024 from 6:30 PM to 7:30 PM, 4136 BROADWAY ST, HOUSTON, TX 77087. A funeral service will occur Thursday, October 3, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, 4136 BROADWAY ST, HOUSTON, TX 77087. An entierro / burial will occur Thursday, October 3, 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at South Park Cemetery, 1310 North Main Street, Perland, Texas 77581.
