He graduated from C. E. King High School in 2001. After high school, Ralph worked alongside his father doing construction. His expertise in construction allowed Ralph to become a hero. During tropical storm, Allison, Ralph’s quick thinking to make an exit through the roof of the attic allowed him to save his wife, his first-born son, and seven others, including himself, from being killed by the storm. Additionally, Ralph obtained a career as a welder for UTLX, and furthered his path by becoming a boatman for the Houston Boatmen Association. Besides his dedication to work, he had a love for sports, especially basketball.
