Quinn Bakari Carlis

Quinn Bakari Carlis, age 43, of Houston, Texas passed away on Thursday, November 15, 2018. Quinn was born October 10, 1975 in Gainesville, FL to Tyrone and Cherry Carlis. Quinn grew up and attended elementary and high school in Miami, FL. He graduated from Miami Central High in 1993, then, attended

Prairie View A&M University in Texas.

Quinn worked as a plumber and had a passion for fishing.

Quinn is survived by his wife of 7 years, Yolanda; mother Cherry Carlis and father Tyrone Carlis; brother Troy Carlis and his wife Linda; grandmother Arletha Alford; children Adayshia L. Carlis, Trenitee L. Alix-Carlis, Questiyon Carlis, stepson Andre (AJ) Green; aunts & uncles Christine and Tyrone Berry, Linda and Darryl Fennell, Dennis Alford, Cathy Alford, and a host of cousins, other relatives and friends.

A memorial service for Quinn will occur Saturday, December 8, 2018 at 12:00 p.m. at Brookside Funeral Home - Family Chapel, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, TX 77039.
