Po Fu’s family later immigrated to Taiwan to escape communism. She attended the National Taiwan Ocean University, where she earned her Bachelor’s degree. Po Fu later traveled to Japan and received her MBA degree from Kindai University in Osaka. She moved to Houston Texas in the early 70’s, where she met her late husband, Noon (Louie) Dong. Po Fu and Louie owned and managed several grocery/convenience stores in the Houston area. During this time, she had earned the respective title of “Boss Lady”. Po Fu later went on to obtain her real estate license, and continued to have a successful career in Real Estate. Po Fu spent time singing in her choir group, gardening, traveling and living her life for her sons and grandchildren.
Po Fu is preceded in death by her husband, Noon Dong; parents Yu Hua Huang and Shu Zheng Wang . She is survived by her son Henry; son Kenny and wife Jennifer; Granddaughters Amanda, Sarah, and Aimee; Grandsons Connor and Hunter; her sisters and brothers Bao-Fang Huang, Bao-Ying Huang, Pao Yuan Huang, Lawrence Huang, Bao-Chuan Huang, Bao-Kai Huang, and Bao-Lu Huang; along with countless friends that she loved like family. The family would like to thank her sister Pao Yuan Huang, for her help, support and special care during her illness.
Po Fu will forever be loved and missed.
