Patty Moon

Patty Moon, age 75, of The Woodlands, Texas passed away on Saturday, April 30, 2022. Patty was born in Warsaw, Missouri on February 15, 1947 to parents Marguerite Ingalsbe Mullens and Delbert Mullens. Patty graduated from Aldine High School and received a cosmetology license from North Harris Cosmetology School. She met Don R. Moon in Houston, Texas and married on November 17, 1966. Patty had a career as a self-employed Beautician for 39 years and was a member of Needham Rd Baptist Church, also known as The Church at 242. Patty had a passion for the word of God, her family, and talking to anyone and everyone who would listen.

She is preceded in death by her loving husband Don R. Moon; father Delbert Mullens; mother Marguerite Mullens; sisters Linda Nichols, Deborah Mosby.

Patty is survived by her son Don R. Moon Jr.; daughter Margie A. Potter, Pamela Cazalas; sister Nancy Ogden, Barbara Bridgeford; brother Ronald Mullens; grandkids Jeremiah Moon, Michael Moon, Paige Moon, Ethan Lightfoot Moon, Adam Moon, Juliette Potter, Jessica Tuttle, Casey Cazalas, Kandis Stump; daughter in law Kristina Moon; son in law Matt Potter, and Jimmy Cazalas.

Special Thanks to Dennis Parish, Matt and Margie Potter, Jannette Merrit, and everyone that has helped by sending flowers, photos, and memories. Mom was loved by so many and I know she would be so happy about the way our family has come together in her memory.

A visitation for Patty will be held Monday, May 9, 2022 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Brookside Funeral Home, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, TX 77039. A funeral service will occur Tuesday, May 10, 2022 from 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, TX 77039. A graveside service will occur Tuesday, May 10, 2022 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at Brookside Memorial Park, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, TX 77039.

Serving as pallbearers are Ethan Lightfoot Moon, Adam Moon, Ronald Mullens, Tommy Farrell, Chuck Braddock, Luke Fernandez, David Smith and Mark Clemons.
