Patsy Ruth Santee-Hunter

She was born to parents Christine Ayres Santee and Melvin Santee, on August 2, 1948 here in Houston, Texas. She was the third child of five children.

Patsy Graduated from Harper Elem/Jr. High School and later from B.C. Elmore Sr. High both in Houston, Texas in 1967.

She received The Lord at an early age. She was baptized as a member of Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev H.L. Bailey Sr.

Patsy loved to work and at a very young age she was employed by The Bayou Club of Houston. Then for the last 32 years of her life she was employed by The Forward Times News Paper is where her health begin to fade.

Patsy is survived by her Grandson DeMarlo M. Santee and his devoted wife (Alexandrea) Brother; Robert Charles Santee, (Rochelle) Sisters; Joyce Marie Santee, of Houston, Texas, Karen Y. Santee Brown and Nedra L. Santee Moore (Raymond) of Oakland, California; one Great Grandson; DeMarlo M. Santee Jr. and very loving fiancé; Edmond Todd. She had a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, relatives and friends

Patsy was a proud mother of 2 children, Gary Eugene and Zenia Marie Santee who preceded her in death, also by her mother; Christine Santee Newman, father; Melvin Santee Sr., Brothers; Melvin Santee and Errol G. Santee Brown and one sister Mary Louise Santee White.
