Patsy Kennedy Paine

Patsy was born to Murry D. and Emily J. Kennedy on May 21, 1941, in Houston, TX. She graduated from Lamar High School and received her Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Houston.

Ever gregarious, Patsy engaged people everywhere she went.  She loved big birthday celebrations and relished giving special gifts. Sharing her Florida house with friends and family was a great joy, and she never tired of looking at the beautiful ocean. She volunteered with varied organizations over the years, most recently the Children’s Advocacy Center of Collin County. She had many dear friends from middle school on who loved her dearly. Patsy was a wonderful mother who was always there when her family needed her.

She was predeceased by her parents Murry D. Kennedy and Emily J. Kennedy; her husband Samuel M. Paine.

She is survived by her three children Julie Lord and her husband Robin Krause, Ginger Renfro and her husband Chad, and Robert Lord Jr and his wife Jamie; grandchildren Kennedy King, Jane Lord-Krause, Brody Renfro, Chapman King, Katherine Lord-Krause, Amelia King, Ellie Lord and Robert Lord III.

A viewing is scheduled for July 22, 2023, 10am, at Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home in Houston followed by a private family graveside service. In lieu of flowers, we invite you to make a donation to the Children’s Advocacy Center of Collin County in her honor.
