Patricia Ann Ward, a loving wife, mother, and sister passed away peacefully at the age of 71 on the 8th of August 2019. She was born on June 29, 1948 in Cahokia IL to Richard and Vera Chesnutt.
Patricia moved to Houston after graduating from Angelo Business College in 1968. On July 29, 1976 she married Joseph Leo Ward and together they successfully built a business, family, and home. She is survived by her Husband, their four children Grant Ward, Fallon Ward, Scott Ward, and Mary Dawn Lowrey along with their spouses, four grandchildren, and her sister Susan Flower and husband Scott Flower.
Patricia enjoyed life. One of her many gifts to the world was the kindness and beauty which radiated from her loving soul. She had a way of lighting up every room she entered and her kindness could be seen in the smallest of gestures. The warmth of her love was felt by all. She was blessed by loving family and friends and will be deeply missed.
A memorial service will be held at Memorial Oaks Funeral Home and Cemetery Friday August 23rd at 2:00pm.
