Patricia was born in Akron, Ohio and moved to Houston with her family when she was a teenager. She attended San Jacinto High School and was active in many activities while in school. After high school, Patricia attended the University of Houston where she met her husband, John Hatteberg. John and Patricia were married on October 13, 1956 and were married for sixty-one years before John passed away in 2017.
Patricia was the Administrator for Memorial Lutheran Church for many decades. In her spare time, she was an avid tennis player and an active member of Memorial Lutheran Church since the early 1960’s.
She is preceded in death by her father David Llewellyn Morgan, her mother Norma Moye Morgan and her husband John Kenneth Hatteberg.
Patricia is survived by her sister Edith Low, her daughters, Karen Prichard-Warren, Kathryn Joelle Hatteberg and Christiana Hatteberg and her grandchildren Thomas Cunningham, Katie Cunningham Beavers, Mac Prichard-Warren, Madison Prichard-Warren, Stephan Hetteberg, McKenna Weil and Ronald (Junior) Weil. Her great grandchildren, Sutter Moody, Cohen Beavers, Stella Beavers, Wilson Beavers and Avery Prichard-Warren, brother- in- law Richard Hatteberg, many nephews and nieces and great nephews and nieces also survive her.
The family would like to thank the kind nurses and staff at the Buckingham Assisted Living and Memory Care, Vantage Hospice and the caregivers from Ladonna’s Dream Care. They all took exceptional care of Patricia with compassion and love. Our hearts are forever filled with gratitude for these exceptional caregivers.
Family and friends are invited to attend the funeral service for Patricia at 11:00 am on Wednesday, June 5, 2024 at Memorial Lutheran Church, 5800 Westheimer Rd with a visitation starting at 10:30 am. A committal service will follow the funeral at Forest Park Westheimer Cemetery, 12800 Westheimer Rd.
A reception will be held after the burial at 3:00 pm at Carrabba’s, 1399 South Voss Rd.
