PAT (PASQUALE) CEMINO, beloved husband, father and grandfather, died July 14, 2017 surrounded by family.The son of immigrants from Corleone, Sicily, Pat was born and raised in Houston, Texas, where he married Rose Kathryn Pizzitola and raised seven children. Pat worked as a sales executive for General Electric for more than 45 years, winning numerous awards and accolades throughout his career.
Pat was preceded in death by his wife, Rose, along with his parents, Philip Cimino and Angelina Ponzio Cimino, and brothers Liborio Cimino, who died in infancy, and Carmelo Cimino, killed in combat in WWII. He is survived by his children: Phillip Cemino and his wife, Jenise; Guy Cemino and Christina Lustig; Stephen Cemino; Michael Cemino and his wife, Debra; Angela Rice and her husband, Joseph; Annette Rogers and her husband, Judson; and Karen Duque and her husband, Diego. He was a treasured grandfather to eight grandchildren: Toni, Stephanie, Kathryn, Madison, Austin, Maxwell, Ethan and Abby, and two great grandchildren, Celia and Bryce, who brought him great joy and put a smile on his face. He also is survived by his sister-in-law, Anna Marie Allen, along with two nieces and two nephews. He will forever be missed by all who knew him.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 20 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Brookside Funeral Home, Cypress Creek, 9149 Highway 6 North, Houston, Texas 77095, with a rosary recited at 7 p.m. that evening. A mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, July 21 at 1:30 p.m. at Christ the Redeemer Catholic Church, 11507 Huffmeister Rd., Houston. Rite of committal will follow at Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery, 6900 Lawndale Avenue, Houston.Pallbearers will be Diego Duque, Maxwell Duque, Austin Rice, Joseph Rice, Ethan Rogers and Judson Rogers, each wearing one of the ties from Pat’s extensive collection
