Pamela Antoinette Ivey

Pamela Antionette Ivey passed away on Tuesday December 22nd, 2020 in Houston, Texas. She was born on January 12th, 1942, in Freeport, Texas, and grew up in Lake Jackson, Texas where she graduated from Brazosport High School in 1960. Upon graduation, Pamela moved to Houston, Texas to work in the medical center for 20 years. She met her devoted husband Don Ivey in Houston, and they were married on May 25th, 1962 until her passing. Pamela and Don have two children, Darrell Ivey and Stephen Ivey. She was preceded in death by her oldest son Darrell on February 15th, 1977. They are back together again.
Pamela was an extremely sweet person, cared for so many people, and was loved by so many people that knew her. She loved God and scripture, cats, cooking, crossword puzzles, traveling, and her family. Pamela was a member and volunteered at Willow Meadows Baptist Church for the most part of the 60's and 70's. She later became a member of First Baptist Church of Houston. Also, known by her husband of 58 years, Don, as "Pammy Poo." She will be greatly missed, but we know that she's up in heaven smiling and out of pain.
