Almost daily I think about him. We shared many memories, many laughs together.

Carson, Chelsey and I wanted to send our condolences. I thought I wrote something back in late March, my apologies. It's hard to know what to say as the loss of a child is especially hard. Juat wanted to send Love and continued prayers Amanda, Robert and Lauren 🩷🩵💜

Nick and I had so much fun spending a day together at Burroughs Park in Spring, Texas. February, 2013.  Such a sweet, fun-spirited kid, gone far too soon. A precious nephew who will always be loved and missed.

I am so very sorry to hear of Nicholas’s passing. I was his math teacher a few years ago. I pray God’s peace and strength guards the hearts and minds of all of us who loved him. 

Oh Hoff-Man it saddens me so much that you’re not here with us anymore. I’ll forever miss your soundless laugh and all of the life-lesson questions you’d ask me. 

You were honestly a bright light that was blown out way too soon. I hope you’re at peace mentally, spiritually and physically. Your Fairchild family will truly miss so much.

He always made folks laugh with his impromptu wit. He was strong willed and protective of his friends.

Nick, my heart is broken that I have hugged you for the last time. Thank you for being such an amazing brother and friend to Ethan and Jordan, and countless others. We have loved you like our own as long as we have known you and we are so grateful for all the amazing memories our families have shared. Rest in peace, we love you.

The Stewarts, Jack and Amy, offer our condolences to Nick’s family. He was a dear friend to our grandson, Jaxin, and will leave a big hole in his heart. When Nick was out west, Jaxin spoke about wanting to visit him.  Nick was too young to leave us, but his memories will remain in those he touched.

Him back I would. 

I got to work with Nick at mister car wash, I didn’t get to know him for long but I'll never forget the first time I met him he left such a big impression, I knew he was going to be the one to make us all laugh. He never failed to make others smile, he never failed to let others know he loved and cared for them and he never failed to treat others with respect. He was so honest and genuine, and never let anyone down. I'll forever be grateful that I got to meet Nick and have him apart of my life. He will forever be missed by his family and friends, and we will cherish his memory for the rest of our lives.

Nick was a great friend to Diego. I am grateful that he was part of his life. The memories will forever be cherished by all who knew him. May that bring some comfort for his immediate family.  Our prayers for strength are with you.

This is when Nick first got his break and we met up to hang out same night he got back

I was Nick’s baseball coach when he was in 6-8th grade.   Great kid!    He was always smiling.  Played a great SS and hit well.   Pitched a no hitter in the biggest tournament in Cooperstown, NY.   His catchphrase was “hey guy!”    He used to spend the night at our house and play wiffle ball for hours with the boys in the backyard.    We had lost touch for many years until one day he called me from a Navy ship in the Pacific Ocean.    We talked for about an hour about the “old days” and how much fun we had in Cooperstown.    I am sorry sorry this happened but will always remember his smile.
