With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Moses Vasquez, 44, on Friday, May 31, 2024 in Houston, TX. He was born May 20, 1980 in Houston, TX to the parents Gloria Vasquez (Morales Moreno) and Jimmy V. Vasquez, Jr.
Moses had a love for music, shoes, family, his career, cutting hair, and washing his car on rainy days. He enjoyed spending time with his family by going to the movies or by simply talking and laughing with them. He always gave exceptional fatherly advice and support to his children. He loved his dog like a son and enjoyed taking him on car rides and walks at the park. He took pride in his work, loved problem solving, and was always first to offer help to anyone that needed it. He was always able to make you smile and laugh through any hardships. Moses will be greatly missed and deeply mourned by all of his family and friends. His spirit will live on in our hearts and memories. God may have called you home too soon, but now you may rest in peace and serenity.

He is survived by his wife, Kayla Leanne McGee Vasquez; his loving children, Mars Vasquez and Mya A. Vasquez; Father, Jimmy V. Vasquez, Jr.; Siblings: Pete A. Moreno; Debbie A. Trellue (Vasquez) and husband Stephen; Vincent Vasquez; Jinny A. Sanchez (Vasquez) and husband Christopher; Angela M. Lizcano (Vasquez); Nieces and nephews: Sandy M. A memorial gathering for Moses will be held Monday, June 10, 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Heights Funeral Home, 1317 Heights Blvd, Houston, TX 77008.
