I feel extremely honored to have grown up with Monty, Jay, Slim, and Mrs. Mc Farlane.  Monty was one of my best friends growing up and was a true friend to others. He was always there for anyone in need and for cheering up when they were down. There is no doubt that he touched more people in a positive way than anyone could count. Monty will never be forgotten, but always loved.  May god bless the Mc Farlane family.

Monty, you were my best friend and helped me so much at MacArthur. I am truly sorry for your family. I remember when I first went back to Houston after being gone 20 + years and I went straight to your house and felt like we never missed a beat apart. You will always be the best friend I had known. I went to school with Monty  he was always so friendly and kind  I don't think he knew a stranger I will  always remember his smile   may God be with his Family and Friends  and know all of you are in my thoughts and prayers

Sorry to hear about the passing of our fellow Houston Rodeo crew partner! Great friend and an all around good guy! Monty and his brother Jay will be watching next years Rodeo Houston from great seats!

You will be missed and will be forever in my heart. I will see you in heaven one day. You and Jay are together again, I know you are happy and at peace. Thanks for the memories. 
My condolences to your family. I'm truly sorry.

I'm stunned to say the least.  You were so kind and generous to my, Hayden Carr, when Jay passed.  Hayden took his passing very hard.  He was so excited when you brought him a pair of Jay's boots and a couple of his shirts a year or so after the funeral.  Of course as, skinny as Hayden was at the time he hoped to one day be able to wear those shirts.  

Words can't express my heartache for your loving wife and mother.  

I am forever grateful that I was chosen to be your jeweler and will continue to do anything to be there for your family in any way I can.

 Our family will greatly miss you!!

Monty, I have always loved you like a brother. I miss your brother Jay everyday. At least I know you and Jay are up in heaven smiling and laughing down on everyone you two touched. I will miss you greatly.

I'll miss our rodeo times an the friendship

Monty, even though we have not seen each other in a while, we have remained friends. I wish we could have spent more time together. You were one of my few true friends in life and I will miss you very much! Rest In Peace Monty, I'll see you on the other side.

Deanna I can't begin to find words. Monty was like war brother to me. In the past 25 years we have been though so munch together that our bond was more like a bother hood ! I know is hard for other to understand as we just sold soap right. You know first hand the late nights working together on the phone building our plans to overcome what we faced. I can't put into words the effect he had on me and my family. No One will ever replace him as he set the bar for other to ache to. I am honored to have been part of his life and will carry with me the thoughts of the way he conducted himself in business, I just pray I can live to half the man/friend/father/mentor he was.

To all of the Family and Friends of  Monty's  I am so sorry for your loss   I pray God is with all of you  and comforts you all at this  time  and know all of you are in my thoughts and prayers  . again my condolences  to all

My heart is aching for all family and friends of Monty's. He was such an outgoing and hardworking man who wasn't afraid to show his sentimental side. He had an extremely likeable personality with a wonderful sense of humor. I will remember my brother always and he will remain in my heart forever.
