Miguel Aceves beloved and devoted son, brother, and uncle passed away peacefully at home on January 16, 2011. He was born on November 8, 1918 in Guadalajara, Mexico and moved to Houston with his mother, Guadalupe Aceves, shortly after. He devoted his entire life to care for his mother until her passing in 1988. He often said "there is nothing like a mothers love". He was preceded in death by his mother; Guadalupe Aceves, brothers; Raymond Landa, Jimmy Landa, Kenneth Landa, George Landa, Tony Landa, and sister; Eloise Reyna. He is survived by his sister Carmen Garza and niece Carmen Mendez.
A visitation will be held at Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home on January 18, 2011 from 5pm-9pm. Funeral service will be on January 19, 2011 in the Family Chapel at 10:00am with interment to follow
