Michael lived at the Richmond State Supported Living Center for over 54 years, and he was grateful to the staff who cared for him and ensured his special needs were met all these years. Michael had an infectious smile and never met a stranger. He was the life of the party, and to know Michael, was to love him unconditionally. His favorite food was chicken, and he loved western movies and Mariachi music.
While Michael could not pronounce names, he made up a name that he could pronounce for each person that was special to him.
