Miss Maxine was the first person that Brenda and I met when we moved to Chantilly Lane in Oak Forest.  We loved her as a friend and a neighbor and truly admired her independent spirit.   She was proud of her family and loved being with them.  Towards the end, it was very hard on Miss Maxine because she was no longer able to do for others no matter how large or small the task.  I remember on several days having to fight her off my trashcans because she was taking care of them.  :-)  We will certainly miss her in the neighborhood but she will always be in our heart. Maxine was a dear friend to my mother Janice, and she always had a welcoming smile whenever I saw her. She was a lovely person, and she will be fondly remembered.

Maxine was a wonderful lady. We had the pleasure of being neighbors. She would always invite my boys in and always had a special treat for them on Halloween. Chantilly Lane and Oak Forest will not be the same without her. Prayers for peace during this time of mourning.

I was sorry to hear about Maxine. She was a special lady and loved her family very much. I am leaving for Denver this morning so I won't be able to attend her services. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

I am so sorry to hear about the loss of such a sweet lady. I never saw her without a huge smile on her face. She kept my son, Shane for several years while I worked and I never had to worry about him.  When she talked about the little ones she kept, she always ended it, "these are my babies".

My condolences to the Muske family.  Maxine was my neighbor and the first to welcome me to the neighborhood when I moved in.  If I ever wanted to know what was going on in Oak Forest, I knew Maxine was my best source of information.  The epitome of a helpful neighbor, Maxine, even in her later years, was always willing to lend a hand with whatever project you were undertaking  and would tell you how to do it better! She became not just a good neighbor but a good friend. I will miss her.

Sending our condolences and prayers to the family for the great loss of Grandma. It was a pleasure to meet Mrs. Muske, she was such a loving and caring lady. My daughter Paloma loved her a lot.

So sorry for your loss.  Your mom was so sweet and you could always count on her to speak the truth and she made the best cakes in the world.  She will be missed.

Maxine was my daughter Heather second Mom from infant to 3.  She was one of the most loving and caring people out there.  Love her much sending love to the entire family.

Sending prayers of comfort to the family and remembering fond memories of a great Oak Forest Mom. Her love lives forever and she is now in the arms of God.

So sorry to hear about the loss of your Mom. I have many memories of Maxine but one sticks out the most. That was the day I dropped off Kurt for your Mom to keep. I'm not sure who was more upset Kurt or I. I'll never forget your Mom's words to me. She said "Larry he will be fine he is here with me." That was comforting to me because she always treated me and all of your friends the same way when we would hang out at your house. She was there for love and discipline and gave both in huge amounts. Your Mom was one of a kind and we  loved her dearly. So glad that she is with the Lord and visiting her family and friends who were there to welcome her. Know that our love and prayers are headed your way.
