Mary Lee Wilkinson

Mary Lee Wilkinson was born September 13 1945 in Marksville, LA, to the Late Overton Greenhouse Sr., and Florida Berry Greenhouse of Colfax, LA. She departed this life on April 5, 2023 at the age of 77.

Mary loved her family and liked going to church. She was a wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, she was a faithful member of Forest Lawn Missionary Baptist Church, served as an usher and remained a faithful member for over 40 years.

Mary liked serving others. Which is a large part of why she chose to become a caregiver. Helping the elderly who was ill or just couldn’t do it for themselves . The more she did it, it ultimately became her passion, which was her true joy in life.

Mary married Jimmie Wilkinson Jr., on April 9, 1966. In this union, they had two children .

The Lord called her home to be with Him on April 5, 2023.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents Overton Sr., and Florida Berry Greenhouse, two Sisters, Katherine (Nanny) Dorsey-Johnson, Anna Mae Kimble, four Brothers, Chester Greenhouse, Ernest Greenhouse, Luther Greenhouse, Overton Greenhouse Jr. and a host of relatives and friends

She leaves to cherish her memories, a loving husband, Jimmie WilkinsonJr., two sons, Wendell(Rose) Wilkinson of Killeen, Tx, Eric Brian Wilkinson of Houston, Tx.,two grand daughters, Teresa (Anquan) Thomas of San Diego, Ca., Nina-Christina Wilkinson of Austin, Tx., Two great grand daughters, Kaylin and Kaycee Thomas of San Diego, Ca, one brother, Edgar (Laurel) Greenhouse of Marksville, La., twin sister- Bessie Johnson of Yorktown,Va., one sister-in-law Glennis Greenhouse of Marksville, La., and host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
