Mary Frances Roznovsky

Mary Frances (Gorka) Roznovsky, 95 passed on to be with the Lord on May 30, 2017. Mary was born to Vincent and Elizabeth Gorka February 21, 1922. She was preceded in death by her father Vincent Gorka, mother Elizabeth Gorka, 5 brothers, 5 sisters, husband of almost 50 years August Vincent Roznovsky, and son Gary Roznovsky.

Mary was a member of St. Rose of Lima Catholic church where she served on the altar guild as well as SPJST, Knights of Columbus, and SOKOL. Mary truly enjoyed spending time with friends and family by whom she will be deeply missed.

She is survived by her daughter Karen Roznovsky, granddaughters Laura Phelps, Melissa Herren (Henry), and Jamie Fisher, great grandchildren Summer Lawlis, Danielle Lawlis, Brianna Lawlis, Aubin Herren, Emerie Phelps, Jately Fisher, Mitchell Herren, and Damon Herren. Sister Hattie, brother Henry and a host of relatives and friends.

Visitation for Mary will be on Sunday, June 4, 2017 from 5:00 to 8:00 pm with a Rosary Service starting at 7:00 pm at Pat H. Foley & Company, 1200 W 34th St. Houston, TX 77018. Funeral Mass will be on Monday, June 5, 2017 at 11:00 am at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church, 3600 Brinkman St. Houston, TX 77018. Burial will take place at 2:00 pm at Forest Park Westheimer Cemetery, 12800 Westheimer Rd. Houston, TX 77077.
