Mrs. Mary Louise Pritchard Lozoff peacefully transitioned to her heavenly home on June 2, 2018 in Houston, Texas. She was born on August 11, 1951 in Jackson, Mississippi to the late George E. Pritchard and Ethel Gene Pritchard. She earned a Master’s Degree from Sam Houston University and graduated from Tomball High School in 1969. Mary was a gifted teacher and then school counselor for many years. She had a true compassionate soul for everyone including animals. Mary leaves behind her loving husband Ronald L. Lozoff. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Joseph McKinney Pritchard and G. Richard Pritchard. Mary is survived by her daughter, Elyse Anderson Dennis, son, Rex Pritchard Anderson; grandchildren, Anderson Dennis, Lilah Swann Dennis, Colton Anderson, Christian Anderson, and step granddaughter Georgia Lozoff; and dearest friend, Shelia Rice.
Friends and family are welcome to attend a Celebration of Mary’s Life in the Unity of Houston Chapel on Saturday June 30, 2018 from 11:00-1:00, 2929 Unity Drive Houston, Texas 77057. The family invites you to stay for lunch to celebrate and remember the life of Mary Louise.
Cemetery service will follow the Celebration of Life at Forest Park Lawndale, 6900 Lawndale St. Houston, Texas 77023. In lieu of flowers Mary’s family request contributions be made to Animal Shelter Volunteers of Texas.
