Mary Lou Perry - McKinley

She was born on September 11, 1947 in Alice, TX and lived in San Antonio for the early part of her life. She moved to Houston in 1973 and lived there until her death.

She was a graduate of various schools in San Antonio and Southwest Paralegal Institute in Houston. She worked as a paralegal during the end of her career but first worked in education with various roles at several schools.

She was married to John J. Perry Jr. on June 8, 1968 in San Antonio, TX. They remained together until his passing in 2006. She later married Emmett McKinley on December 10, 2016.

She is survived by her husband. Emmett, daughter Monica Perry Carbajal, son John Perry III, son Brian McKinley and grandchildren Michael, Ella and Ava McKinley.

She was active in multiple ministries across multiple parishes throughout her adult life. She loved to care for others.

Viewing will be held Tuesday, April 16, 2024 from 4 PM-6PM at Earthman Hunter’s Creek 8303 Katy Freeway, Houston, TX 77024 followed immediately thereafter by a rosary. A funeral mass will be held at 11AM on Wednesday April 17 at St. Theresa Catholic Church, 6622 Haskell St. Houston, TX 77007 with interment 1 PM at Memorial Oaks Cemetery 13001 Katy Freeway, Houston, TX 77079. Reception immediately following at St. Theresa Catholic Church.
