Mary Francis Osborne

Mary Francis Osborne, 80, of Houston, Texas went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, April 9, 2011. She was a generous and loving Christian woman who always had a smile on her face. She was born of proud parents Willie Faye Beard and Charles Floyd on June 19, 1930 in Choctaw, Oklahoma and is survived by her three siblings Lois Cunningham, Johnnie Floyd, and Ray Floyd.

Mary was an avid hunter. She enjoyed traveling with her family in their motor home around the United States and spending time in the mountains. Throughout her life, she shared much love with her many dogs. In her younger years, Mary was a model for Coca-Cola.

Mary is survived by her beloved husband of 49 years, Ansell Lee "Gary" Osborne, two loving daughters Cynthia Temple and Donna Jo Christopher, son Lee Osborne and wife Debbie six grandchildren Mary Kimberly Zamprelli and husband Steve, Nicole Temple and husband Pirolo, Ernest Frank Hill IV, Gary Christopher Hill and fiance Ingrid, Zeb Osborne, and Jeannie Osborne, four great-grandchildren Jacob Koch, Anthony Zamprelli, Tyler Osborne, and Abigail Hill. All of Mary's grandchildren proudly called her "MiMi".

The family will receive friends Wednesday, April 13, 2011 from 5 to 8 p.m. at Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home 6900 Lawndale Ave. Houston, Texas 77023 713-928-5141. The funeral service is scheduled for Thursday, April 14, 2011 at 2 p.m. at Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home. Interment to follow at Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery.
