Mary Sue Nash

Sue was born on May 27, 1927 in Tennessee to Kelly Dee Fletcher and Zella Mae Aikens Jones. In 1947, she married Charles R. Nash and together had three daughters.

Sue was preceded in death by her parents and husband; sisters Roberta and Deloise; brothers Gene, Wayne, Gary and Charles. She is survived by her daughters Sharon Clarke, Margie Buentello, Rebecca Griffin; grandchildren Steve Hart, Nathan Buentello, Dustin Buentello and Amber Buentello; brother Kenneth Jones; sisters Ann Guin, Judy Lancaster and husband Charlie; and many loved nieces, nephews, family members and friends.

Sue had a passion for family, church, gardening and winning at a variety of games. She was a Sunday School teacher at First Baptist Church of Jacinto City for many years. After 20 years of service to the people of Harris County, Sue retired in 1992.

Visitation will be Tuesday, December 1, 2020 at 10:30am in the Grand Chapel at Brookside Funeral Home, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, Texas 77039. Funeral service to follow at 11:30am. Graveside burial at 12:30pm at Brookside Memorial Park. The funeral home requires masks. Guests are also invited to attend via Facebook.
