Though she only achieved a high school education, Mary taught her children important life lessons, such as the value of hard work, faith, and the need to put family first. Though she worked at home caring for her children, as well as coming up with ingenious ways of supplementing her husband’s paycheck, Mary amassed enormous wealth as measured by friends, family, and love.
She is survived by her children, grandchildren, and great grandson: Laura (husband Heraclio, children Heraclio,Jr., Veronica, husband Artemio and their son Isaias); John (wife Kimberly, children Jonathan and Eva), Melinda (husband Tony, children Olivia and Christian); and Nilda (husband Marco, children Marco, Jr., Nikolaus, Michael, Carmelo, and Nikki); siblings Genoveva, Martina, and Guillermina; and many in-laws, nieces, nephews, friends, and family too numerous to list but not forgotten. Mary is predeceased by her husband Juan Mendoza, parents Carmen Uribe Verastegui and Ausencio Uribe, and sisters Manuela Rodriguez, Irene Mena, Refugia Quintana, and Juanita Mena.
Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.crespofuneralhomebroadway.com for the Mendoza family.
