Mary Rose Maenza Cutaia

Mary Rose Maenza Cutaia, age 101 of Houston, Texas passed away peacefully on Monday, December 9, 2024. Her parents were Archangelo Maenza and Rosalie Lorino of Bisacquino, Sicily. Mary was born in Houston, Texas on February 13, 1923. She was married to Michael (Mike) M. Cutaia, Sr. of Houston, Texas.

Mary is preceded in death by her husband Mike .She is survived by her two children, Elizabeth and Michael and brother and sister-in law Oscar and Opal Maenza in addition to nieces and nephews.

A devoted wife and mother, Mary’s life was marked by dedication to her strong Christian beliefs, work ethic and devotion to family.

Although Mary faced physical health challenges in her later life, she remained resilient and persevered .She was strong till the end. Her unwavering faith in God was her strength and an inspiration to those who loved her.

A visitation for Mary will be held Friday, December 20, 2024 from 9:15 AM to 10:00 AM at Forest Park Westheimer Funeral Home, 12800 Westheimer Road, Houston, TX 77077. A funeral service will occur Friday, December 20, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, 12800 Westheimer Road, Houston, TX 77077. A reception will occur Friday, December 20, 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM, 12800 Westheimer Road, Houston, TX 77077. A committal service will occur Friday, December 20, 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at Forest Park Westheimer Cemetery, 12800 Westheimer Rd, Houston, TX 77077.
