I have known Mary Abalos since I was eight yr old , she and my brother Pete Abalos got married  with Mary   In. there teens ,an had there first child a girl named Annette ,then they moved to Houston tx. An there family grew  with two additional boys Stacy an Paris. When I became 21yrs old I used to drive down to Houston with Mary s brother David Miller in a 1972volswagon Beetle.Me an David would always play with there kids when we visited them.We drove up from Waco.Mary brother David was a good friend of mine in high school( Jefferson Moore High School ) I knew Mary family of her sisters Gertrude ,Alice ,Ruth, Dorthy, there other brother Carlis.I had my own family , my wife name was Pam Abalos, my children are John Abalos jr, Christina Abalos, Angelica Luther. Mary an Pete became Christina’s God parents.I have so many memories of Mary being kind an loving to me an when i started my own family she loved them also.She go to attend my son’s wedding, then attend my oldest daughter’s wedding on May 31 -2021 an my youngest daughter Angelica on Oct. 9 -2021.Mary always love an care about others an loved her children an grandchildren an great grandchildren, i knew she love me John Abalos sr. Little brother to her loving husband Pete Abalos. i. will miss my beautiful sister-in-law for as long as God let’s me, an pray for her family love ones to continue forward in their lives that is what she would want!!!!

Mrs. Abalos will be forever in my heart with so many loving memories throughout   our lives. Annette and I shared so many experiences and memories throughout the years that it’s difficult to name a single event amongst the myriad moments of laughter, tears and joy. Mrs. Abalos defined love and acceptance by her heartwarming smile, her assurances that events would always work out for the best, and her loving embrace that meant she loved us all so dearly. There was always a twinkle in her eye and she expressed love in so many different ways, Throughout her life, it was so highly evident that she was proud of her husband, children, grandchildren, family and friends. She was steadfastly loyal every moment of her life, and she immersed her love into the lives of Annette, Stacy and Paris by being involved in their achievements and cheering them along, right beside her loving companion, Mr. Abalos. Mr, and Mrs. Abalos always is expressed such a loving foundation of trust and respect for her children’s lives and accomplishments that I always felt was inspiring and beautiful. Annette and Mrs. Abalos held such a special bond, more like the best of friends than mother/daughter, and her love of Annette, Stacy and Paris and Mr. Abalos was always fiercely loyal. That same loyalty was omnipresent with Bella, Raina and Ryan and she cultivated this love in the same manner as she did with her children. 

My friendship with Mrs. Abalos was very special. While Annette and I were devoutly loyal friends for many years, I knew that I had a special place of its own in Mrs. Abalos’ beautiful heart. She was someone I could talk to about anything - we had many shared interests such as great literature, beautiful films, and of course, the love of theater and acting. She was proud of our accomplishments and kept our heads high when things didn’t go as planned. As the years progressed, I always felt her love and acceptance and appreciated her guidance.

She will be missed greatly. 



Mary you will be dearly miss by family and friends especially me. If you read this Annette give me a call at 817-893-0673 anytime. 

Thank you so much for being a part of my five years in Houston.  You and  Pete opened your home and your hearts to me, and I’ll be always appreciative.  You raised three wonderful children, and all of you will forever have a piece of my ❤️.

I had the honor of meeting Mrs. Mary Abalos through her daughter Annette Abalos Morales years ago back  when we were both at the University of Houston. She was a kind soul and always made everyone feel welcome.  She truly was a Mama to everyone that had the pleasure of meeting her.

I am so saddened at the passing of this beautiful soul.  I remember meeting her and Pete in 1991 when we first moved next door to them.  They welcomed us to the neighborhood and remained such good friends.  She was such a beautiful person inside and out.  You will truly be missed Mary!!  Prayers to Pete, Annette, Paris and Stacy and all her beloved family.

I remember her parking her bus in the street! She handled her position with expertise…. She saw all the neighborhood kids growing up 💕🙏🌹

I have many heartwarming memories of Mary. We always think that our moms and grandmas will live forever because of the love and care they provide. She definitely carried those traits. She always said, "You never stop being a parent after your kids are grown." She loved to take care of her family. She will continue to look after her loved ones now that she has passed.  I always looked forward to seeing her at the family gatherings especially during the holidays.  She was so warm and inviting. She was a great hostess and cook. I remember she did like to shop. I went shopping with Mary and Annette, but I was ready to drop. Lol. She loved going to the movie theater. I remember us all going to see the Titanic and a bunch of other movies.  I'm sure she had a  influence to my upbringing ever since Patrick and Annette have been together. She will always be in my thoughts and memories. I will miss her very much. 

Heaven definitely has another Angel. 
To know her was to love her.  We worked together and didn’t really know one another until my daughter became her bus attendant.  She loved my daughter (Amber) and took her in just like she was her own.  I couldn’t have asked God for a better friend to be in my daughter’s life like Mary.  I know her family will miss her, but just know she’s in Gods arms and surrounded by other Angels that love her as well.  Till we meet again my sweet friend.

I met Mary many years ago through her daughter-in-law Kari.  Mary was the life of the party.  She always had smile on her face and a heart full of love and laughter.  She made everyone feel welcome. 
 Mary was a woman that truly loved her family.  The world has lost a very special lady.  Sending my love and hugs to the Abalos family. 


We are deeply saddened of the lost of your love one. We have a lot of fun memories when you"ll  were living on Maple Avenue. We are praying that our Lord will deeply bless you"ll, in coming days with Heartfelt Sympathy.

I am so sorry for the loss of this wonderful lady. I was lucky enough to have worked with Mrs. Mary for many years. She cared so much about the students she drove and they were luck to have had her as a driver.
