Martha Ann Linebaugh

Martha Ann Moore Linebaugh (87), passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 25, 2017 in Sugar Land, TX. Martha Ann was born in Houston, Texas on January 9, 1930 to William and Ercella Moore. Martha Ann attended Central High School in Texas City where she is apart of the 1948 graduating class. She later went on to further her education at Hermann Hospital where she graduated as a registered nurse in 1951. In 1954 Martha Ann married her first husband Gilbert J. Sullivan. They were married for thirteen wonderful years. After Mr. Sullivan’s passing in1967, Martha Ann returned to her first love of working as a Registered Nurse. Throughout her nursing career she worked at Kettering Memorial Hospital (RN) in Dayton, Ohio, Frigidaire (Industrial Nurse) in Dayton, Ohio, and General Motors (Industrial Nurse) in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. She retired in 1981. In 1983 Martha Ann married Dave E. Linebaugh and together they shared eighteen loving years of marriage.

Martha Ann is preceded in death by her first husband Gilbert J. Sullivan, one brother, Jack Moore, one son, Joseph P. Sullivan, and her second husband, Dale E. Linebaugh.

She leaves to cherish her memories, Stanley and Netha Moore of League City, TX , Katherine Conley Rogstad of Texas City, TX, Edward and Paulette Sullivan of Sugarland, TX, Dale and Nancy Linebaugh of Peoria, IL, Margaret and Danny Igo of Lexington, KY, Dave Linebaugh of Lexington, KY, Marsha and David Pavelich of Miamisburg, OH, Bob and Terry Moore Fitzgerald of Chicago, IL and numerous grand and great grand children.

There will be a visitation at Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home on Sunday, April 30, 2017 from 5pm-9pm. The funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Monday, May 1, 2017 at 11am with an interment to follow.
