Marshall Johnson, 90, of Kingwood, Texas went to be with his Lord on Sunday, December 6, 2015 after a brief struggle with cancer. He was born July 21, 1925 in Alto, Texas to parents A.W. and Lelia Johnson who preceded him in death. Also preceding him in death were wife Rita, daughter Patricia Stokes and husband Frederick and step-daugher Theresa Jaeger and husband Melvin.
Marshall was an avid fisherman for most of his life and enjoyed spending time with his dear friends Rudy and Jane Pakebusch in his later years.
He is survived by grandchildren Darren Stokes and wife Donna, Scott Stokes and wife Dawn, Sandra Jaeger, Rita Bierman and husband Wayne, Michael Jaeger and wife Dawn, great grandchildren Erin Stokes, Kaitlin, Austin, Braeden Stokes, Angelica, Alexander, and Christopher Bierman, Meagan, Makayla, Olivia, and Gretchyn Jaeger, and great great granddaughter Juliette Jaeger.
The family will receive friends for a visitation on Thursday, December 10, 2015 from 6-8pm at Brookside Funeral Home. Services will be held on Friday, December 11, 2015 at 10am at First Baptist Church North Houston.
