Marie Hall, age 100, of Houston, Texas, passed away peacefully on August 24, 2024. Born on January 8, 1924, in Richmond, Virginia, Marie was a beloved mother and grandmother. She was known for her kindness, generosity, and unwavering love for her family and God.
Marie was a devoted Christian who lived her life with faith and grace. She was an active member of her church community, where she found great joy in worship and fellowship. Her faith was the cornerstone of her life, guiding her in all she did and offering comfort to those around her.
Christmas was Marie's favorite time of year, a season she celebrated with great joy and love. Her home was always filled with the warmth of the holiday spirit, and she took immense pleasure in decorating, cooking and sharing the festive season with her family and friends.
Marie had a deep love for music, which was a constant source of joy throughout her life. She sang in the church choir for many years, lifting her voice in song for the Lord. She also played the harmonica and had a special talent for bringing music to life. In her youth, Marie even had the opportunity to sing on a live radio broadcast, a cherished memory that she carried with her.
Marie is survived by her daughter, Julie; her son, Michael; her grandson, Samuel; and many other family members and friends who will cherish her memory. She was predeceased by her husband, Wilbur Hall and her parents Willie Parsons and Nina Bowling Parsons, She is now finally reunited with her beloved daughter Connie, who passed away at the tender age of six, a reunion she longed for and found comfort in her faith.
Marie also had a deep affection for her cherished dog Snow, who brought her endless comfort and joy throughout their time together.
