Maria D. Villarreal

Maria was a God fearing woman whom loved life to the fullest and lived for her children. She was a beautiful soul who made sure to leave joy and happiness to anyone she came across. Her giving nature led her to meet so many individuals in every walk of her life. Our mother would want us to celebrate her life and remember the good times she shared with us all.

Maria was thrilled the day she became a grandmother. She would tell us that she couldn’t explain the love she felt for her grandchildren. She said it was the joy of seeing her children growing up, but also that she had more time to enjoy with the grandkids. Our mother worked hard to ensure her children and grandchildren would have everything they wanted and more. We are so proud of all of her accomplishments she achieved and all of the lives she affected with her compassionate heart. She planted seeds everywhere she went and she will truly be missed.

The family will receive friends for a visitation on Thursday, May 19, 2022 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Brookside Funeral Home, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, TX 77039. A funeral service is scheduled to follow in the Grand Chapel at Brookside and begin promptly at 11:00 AM. A burial will follow in Brookside Memorial Park.
